The VFC M249 is the first ever gas owback airsoft belt-fed machine gun. However, in its original configuration, it comes with an AR-15 / M4 STANAG magazine-style gas reservoir which frankly was quite the bummer, but no worries, The VFC M249 GBB Gas Supply Plastic Ammo Box is here and it comes with an ammo belt that when installed in the VFC M249 will allow for belt vibration giving you extra immersive realism. This Ammo Box style gas reservoir will hold more gas than the regular AR15 / M4 STANAG magazine-style gas reservoir which will allow for prolonged shooting.
